The DMR Process

The DMR strategic management process is a structured four‑stage system that blends art and science to help organizations set clear objectives and achieve them.

DMR senior personnel work with community and department leadership to assess operational and fiscal data, including a systemic review of operating and cost‑management protocols, using evaluative tools grounded in best practices to understand current performance and risks.

The four stages of the DMR process are discovery, recommendations, execution, and evaluation, each building on the prior to move from insight to action and measurable results.

From discovery, DMR develops targeted recommendations aligned with organizational goals, resident experience, and operational realities, then partners with leadership to execute those recommendations through concrete actions, training, and workflow changes.

Our Philosophy & Your Vision

RDL: Rhythms of Daily Living

RDL: Rhythms of Daily Living

The DMR strategic management process is a system that when used in proper sequence, combines both art and science to formulate, implement, and evaluate decisions that enable an organization to set clear objectives and achieve them.

At DMR, the vision is to create resident‑directed living and dining experiences that honor the company’s hospitality legacy while redefining what senior living can be for the next generation of residents, families, and staff.

Successful strategy planning has two basic rules:

understand the management cycle that links strategy and operations, and know what tools to apply at each stage of the cycle.

The core of RDL is choice—Residents’ choice in how they live each day and staff choice in how care is delivered.

This creates a collaborative partnership between residents and caregivers, transforming a care setting into a true living environment.

RDL supports the delivery of care, the lived experience, and the dignity that comes from self‑determination.

RDL is a management approach that aligns residents’ natural rhythms with the support they need.

Its organizing principle is that people should be able to make meaningful choices in their daily lives, independently or with assistance.

RDL relies on caregivers to help define and achieve outcomes that honor individual preferences. It does this while maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient systems of care and service.
