Dan Look, Founder
Dan built a distinguished career in senior living after completing his education at Ohio Wesleyan University, serving in progressive leadership roles including Dining Services Director, Regional Director, Regional Vice President, and Vice President of Marketing and Development.
In 1984, he founded Dining Management Resources (DMR), a consulting firm dedicated to self-directed, resident-centered dining programs, and grew it into an industry leader partnering with more than 800 senior living communities nationwide.
Most recently, Dan served as Chief Strategy Officer for National Lutheran Communities & Services (NLCS) in Rockville, Maryland, overseeing strategic initiatives that advanced the organization’s mission, formed non-traditional partnerships, and aligned daily operations with long-term priorities.
He is also a frequent national presenter on senior living, dining innovation, and strategic leadership, and a founding faculty member of the National Certification Program for Retirement Housing Professionals (RHP) through the University of North Texas.
Michael Spector, CEO
Michael brings over 35 years of leadership experience in healthcare and senior living, specializing in operations, procurement, and financial management. His strategic oversight has guided projects from construction and design through to the successful launch and management of food and beverage operations.
Michael has played a key role in new unit openings, property conversions, and operational turnarounds across CCRCs, Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Independent Living communities nationwide. In his most recent role, he held a dual, enterprise-wide position as Senior Vice President of Procurement and Supply Chain and Senior Vice President of Culinary Services, overseeing both organizational procurement strategy and culinary operations for the entire company.
With strong foundations in culinary and hospitality, paired with deep financial acumen, Michael delivers results that drive both resident satisfaction and business success. He is known for his hands-on leadership style, empowering teams, and fostering a culture of motivation and loyalty.
Michael earned his Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and MBA degrees from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.
